They complement the statutory regulations and are intended to help ensure that everyone feels comfortable with us and can learn and work safely. Neither teachers, students, parents, business partners nor any other persons belonging to the school community may be endangered, injured or disregarded in their physical or psychological integrity. Exclusion, intolerance, verbal or written abuse, hate speech as well as discriminatory or degrading behaviour are not tolerated.<\/p>\n<p>At Kapitel Zwei, no one may be disadvantaged or favoured on the basis of skin colour, origin, descent, language, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, worldview, disability or age. Students, teachers and employees are to be treated equally. On this basis, Kapitel Zwei exercises its house rules.<\/p>\n<p>Persons who spread right-wing extremist, racist, antisemitic, anti-democratic or otherwise inhuman ideas can be excluded from participation in school activities and asked to leave the premises. Kapitel Zwei reserves the right within this framework to regulate participation in the school programme as well as the award of teaching assignments and employment relationships accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>Bringing dangerous objects or materials which, by their nature or content, are capable of defaming, intimidating, threatening or attacking other persons is prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>Persons who have currently consumed drugs of any kind and\/or are under the influence of alcohol during lesson times are generally not permitted to take part in the school programme. These persons are excluded from lessons and examinations.<\/p>\n<p>The principle of responsibility at school requires everyone to be accountable for their actions and omissions. Property belonging to Kapitel Zwei Berlin must be handled carefully and with care; likewise, the property of others must be respected. Anyone who soils, damages or destroys something must bear the costs of the damage. Cases of intentional damage to property and serious soiling may be reported to the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Every user of our internet access undertakes to observe the conventions of the internet (netiquette), not to endanger the security and functionality of the systems and not to attempt to gain access to the network of Kapitel Zwei Berlin or other networks. All users undertake to comply with applicable laws and to respect guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to our school report to reception. Access to the school is only permitted to persons who attend lessons, have an appointment or are present for another legitimate reason. Unauthorised persons can be asked to leave the premises.<\/p>\n<p>Photo, video or audio recordings of students, teachers, employees or other persons present are only permitted in the school rooms and in the immediate school context with explicit consent. This also applies to publication or sharing via social media, messenger services or other public or private channels.<\/p>\n<p>In the entrance area, in front of the building and in shared spaces, respectful, calm and non-intimidating behaviour is required. Harassment, threats, targeted provocative addressing, insulting statements as well as deliberate observing or filming of other persons are not tolerated and may lead to exclusion from the premises.<\/p>\n<p>Safety-relevant incidents, unauthorised entry, threats, discriminatory incidents, damage to property or other serious disturbances must be reported immediately to the team or to the management.<\/p>\n<p>In the event of serious violations of the school and house rules, persons may be excluded from the teaching activities without compensation and banned from the premises. All criminal acts or other administrative offences may be reported to the authorities. The office opens and closes at the stated opening times.<\/p>\n<p>Lesson breaks in on-site lessons and 3\u2011hour courses last no longer than 15 minutes. For 2\u2011hour courses, no break is scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Teachers appear punctually for lessons, both online and on site, and explain any lateness on their part. If a course is still without a teacher five minutes after the start of the lesson, students enquire at reception.<\/p>\n<p>All students endeavour to arrive punctually for lessons. In the case of lateness of 15 minutes or more, students may only join the lesson after the break.<\/p>\n<p>The language of instruction is German; English may be used as a transfer language.<\/p>\n<p>Substitute lessons are regular lessons. The teacher prepares content for substitute lessons and lesson cancellations.<\/p>\n<p>During lessons, the use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, computers or media playback devices by students is not permitted, unless such use serves exclusively instructional purposes and has been approved by the teacher in charge.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-j5uw4o-1b79db4919a9fc70bde558c462fcedab\">\n.flex_column.av-j5uw4o-1b79db4919a9fc70bde558c462fcedab{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-j5uw4o-1b79db4919a9fc70bde558c462fcedab av_one_full  avia-builder-el-12  el_after_av_one_full  avia-builder-el-last  first flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  column-top-margin'     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-ms78t70j-c5a578a4d20ec7a192340a787d8f3af4 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><a name=\"Children\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a74 Bringing Children to Class<\/h2>\n<p>We kindly ask for your understanding that our classes are generally intended for registered participants and are not a childcare service for children.<\/p>\n<p>Bringing children to class is therefore only possible by prior arrangement and in exceptional cases, provided that the class is not disrupted as a result.<\/p>\n<p>If a child disrupts the class or requires additional supervision, we reserve the right not to allow participation in the class in that case.<\/p>\n<p>The duty of supervision for the child remains entirely with the accompanying adult for the entire duration of the stay. The accompanying adult must ensure that adequate insurance coverage is in place.
