The RAW site is a 150-year-old factory site, with many clubs residing there today, as well as art and cultural events taking place.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re in Germany around Christmas time, a visit to a <strong>historic Christmas market<\/strong> is highly recommended &#8211; and really beautiful!\u00a0At the historic Christmas market in Berlin-Friedrichshain, artists and craftsmen show their skills &#8211; for example potters, blacksmiths, wood carvers and artists. Of course you can also buy special Christmas presents here!<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re free of vertigo, we&#8217;ll ride together on the <strong>hand-operated wooden carousel or on the wooden giant wheel<\/strong> &#8211; but you can also challenge your classmates from the language course and prove yourself in &#8220;old&#8221; activities such as archery, axe throwing and knife throwing (!)! Who dares?<\/p>\n<p>Of course you will also find something to eat and drink: besides the &#8220;<strong>Feuerzangenbowle<\/strong>&#8221; and the <strong>mulled wine<\/strong> you will be able to taste the medieval drink &#8220;<strong>Met<\/strong>&#8220;, a honey wine, which in Germanic mythology is known as the &#8220;<strong>drink of the gods<\/strong>&#8220;.
