On <strong>Thursday, 19th December<\/strong>, the day has finally arrived. We\u2019ll meet at<strong> 7 p.m.<\/strong> at the <strong>Lucia Christmas Market in the Kulturbrauerei<\/strong>. Please be on time.<\/p>\n<p>How about having the <strong>evening classes<\/strong> at the Christmas market? With the help of mulled wine, German grammar might seem easier than you think. You can find a <strong>letterbox for your wishes at the Christmas Market.<\/strong> Your <strong>homework: write a letter to Santa Claus<\/strong> and explain, why your wishes should come true. We also want to test your musical talent when<strong> singing along with the merry choir<\/strong> at the Lucia Christmas Market. Do you already know some <strong>German Christmas Carols<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll be strolling through the romantic world of the picturesque setting of a <strong>former site of a brewery<\/strong>, with its industrial architecture of the 19th century, <strong>till 10 p.m.<\/strong> The Christmas Market is dedicated to the Scandinavian countries. Lucia is the name of a <strong>Nordic goddess<\/strong>, who brings light into the dark times of winter. She (or the mulled wine) brings warmth and a feeling of security. Taste one out of<strong> twenty variations of mulled wine<\/strong> \u2013 in its conventional form, or as a white wine from a vintner, or as a Swedish Gl\u00f6gg, a Finnish Gl\u00f6gi, or an Islandic mulled wine. As long as you find your way back to your Berlin home safely, everything will be alright!<\/p>\n<p>In case you are still freezing, warm up by the heat of the <strong>flickering \u201cSwedenfires\u201d<\/strong>, or by the unique <strong>\u201eCoat-Open-Air-Heater\u201c<\/strong>; where you can wear fur coats, which have been warmed up by a<strong> nostalgic wood-fired oven<\/strong>. Another idea is the <strong>mobile sauna<\/strong>, for which you luckily don\u2019t need to get undressed.
