The Wall – Asisi Panorama

An autumn day in Berlin in the 80s with Kapitel Zwei

On Thursday, March 19, Kapitel Zwei would like to visit the Panorama “The Wall” of Yadegar Asisi in Berlin Mitte with you, before or after your German course.

“The reflection on the attitude towards life and everyday life in the 1980s in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, were Yadegar Asisi’s motivation for the Panorama”. This realistic 1:1 panorama gives you an impression of life in the years of the Berlin Wall on a fictitious autumn day in the 80’s. The two completely different worlds, West Berlin and East Berlin, are shown in this exhibition.

Pictures are used to tell the everyday stories of Berliners on a wide variety of topics. A photo exhibition of about 80 private photos of Berliners shows what it was like to live with the Wall. A biography of the artist is also available to read through, and if you would like to know how he brought this project to life, you can get an insight into it, too.

Join Kapitel Zwei and prepare yourself for a time travel to the Berlin 80’s! We are looking forward to you!
