Yay! The first regulars’ table of the year 2020! On Thursday, January 16th at 7.30 pm, Kapitel Zwei would like to toast to the New Year with you after your German course in Berlin in the bar “An einem Sonntag im August” (“On a Sunday in August”) in Prenzlauer Berg.
It’s a very long and unusual name for a bar, isn’t it? Where does the name come from? Probably because it is as cosy as a Sunday in August. Let’s check it out. Regular customers call it Sunday café. It was founded in 1998.
There are comfy armchairs that just makes you want to stay longer. You can have a tasty breakfast as well as vegetarian burgers for lunch and in the evening (IMPORTANT FOR US ->) enjoy delicious alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, under a disco ball with electronic beats from the DJ.
In short: This is a real “hang out”! Our lovely promoter Antonella will be happy to give you the German words for hang out. For smokers there is a separate smoking area so that we non-smokers can continue to chat and eat happily and undisturbed in the bar. Dogs are welcome – but only “non-smoker”! And? Did we convince you?
So, make a note for January 16th, 7:30 p.m. We will be waiting for you on Thursday in January at the bar “On a Sunday in August”.
