The latest information from our language school on the Corona-issue:

Current status: June 6, 2022 | 11:30 am

3G – Rule and FFP2 or medical mask

Please note that the 3G rule for lessons on-site will apply.

Those who do not fall under either the « vaccinated or recovered » status will be required to present a daily (24-hour maximum) negative Cov19 test result from the official testing centre on Monday – Wednesday – Friday. If you are absent from the course on Monday or Wednesday, you will need to present a valid proof on Tuesday or Thursday. This will be verified by the respective teacher.

Furthermore, the following recommendations are still in place:

a) wearing a medical mask or FFP2 mask within the classroom – if a distance of less than 1.50m cannot be maintained or in case of bad ventilation. The teacher has the right to make his/her own decisions.

b) Please note: Outside the classroom (within the school building), it is still mandatory to wear a medical or FFP2 mask.

Thank you for your understanding. This will help all your contacts not to get infected with Corona so quickly.

Deutschkurse Berlin medizinische Maske

Outside the classroom (within the school building), it is still mandatory to wear a medical or FFP2 mask. Eating and drinking is only allowed outside.

Please note our health and safety measures.

Tested people

If you are neither considered fully vaccinated nor recovered, you must provide a current, official negative Corona test from the testing centre on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you are absent from the course on Monday or Wednesday, you will need to present a valid proof on Tuesday or Thursday. This will be verified by the respective teacher.

Vaccinated people

You are considered fully vaccinated with a vaccine licensed within the EU, if the second vaccination has taken place at least 15 days prior to course participation.

Please note that if you have had a Johnson & Johnson vaccination, you must refresh your immune system with an additional mRNA vaccine dose in order to be able to take part in the face-to-face courses. This is possible from four weeks after the last Johnson & Johnson vaccination.

Your vaccination status will be checked by the teacher before the course starts. Please have your ID/ID card and your digital Cov19 pass (#App) ready.

For the safety of all students, teachers and staff, we recommend a booster vaccination.

Recovered people

Recovered persons must be able to prove this fact via PCR test, PoC-PCR test on request. This test must be at least 28 days and no more than three (!) months old. After three months, the status of a recovered person expires.

Many thanks for your cooperation! This way, you help us keeping the school and our on-site courses running.

Unvaccinated persons

We happily offer online classes → for unvaccinated persons.

The offer of virtual classes is completely equivalent to the offer of real classes: same time, same duration, same period, same level, same content, knowledge of German at the end of the course identical to regular in-class lessons. Below you can find an example from an online A2.2 course.
