At Kapitel Zwei Berlin you can participate in German courses at all levels from A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. Upon completion of the course as well as regular attendance and participation you will receive a free certificate of participation on request. This can help you prove your German skills when applying to national or international companies.

Your online intensive German course can also provide the foundation for a preparatory course for the telc Deutsch Exam B1, B2, or C1 Hochschule at our institute. Kapitel Zwei Berlin is an official examination center and licensed partner for telc (“The European Language Certificates”) and TestDaF.

Passing the telc Deutsch B1, B2 or C1 Hochschule and TestDaF in Berlin will open doors for you at German universities, will help solve visa issues, and enable new career paths.

Levels & Participation requirements for your online intensive German course

We will conduct an online level test with you after you have registered. So we find the right German course with the right level for you.

In order for you to take part in our intensive German courses, right after your registration you will receive a placement test according to the level you desire.

There is no time limit on this German test. However, it is very helpful if you complete the test online without any help (internet, dictionaries, friends or other kind). This helps us to find the right German course with the suitable level for you.

Kapitel Zwei pays particular attention to ensuring a homogenous level in your group. The goal is for every learner to have the same language prerequisites and to have achieved the desired level by the end of the course. Should you have special wishes you are very welcome to contact us by email.

Visa Advice

If you need at least 20 lessons per week for a visa, you can combine an OFFLINE intensive course with an OFFLINE special course (grammar, conversation, phonetics).

You can learn German intensively with us from Mondays to Thursdays and visit an additional Online course for grammar, conversation, pronunciation or telc Online German courses.

Our intensive courses (on-site and online) start every month. This means that you can learn German all year round from January to December. The registration for the ensuing course will not happen automatically. We will remind you of your reservation for the next German course on-site in Berlin or online around the middle of each month by video, flyer, announcement by your teacher, online on our website, and also on social media.

The courses at the end of the year in December only last three weeks, however. They take place from Monday to Friday, so not only until Thursday. This way you can complete your level before the holidays and relax after learning German in Berlin or online until the new year. During the other eleven months of the year the intensive courses in Berlin or online last four weeks and take place from Monday to Thursday.

We offer German courses all-day. Starting in the morning from 9 am to 11 am for early birds, around noon from 12 pm to 2 pm for hardworking people, even in the afternoons for diligent students from 3 pm to 5 pm and for those who are very busy we offer courses in the evenings from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Your teacher can explain complex language structures in a playful way, sometimes even “without speaking”.

Starting from level A1 the courses are taught entirely in German. Your teacher has a wealth of experience. Using the best possible methods, she/he can explain complex language structures in a playful way, sometimes even “without speaking”.

If need be, we can always answer your questions in English, yet you will see that this is not necessary. It is fun to explore the language together at the same level, make the same mistakes and to progress. Your fellow students have the same linguistic fears and dreams as you do! Everyone has the same foundation. Take the time to get to know each other! Innumerable friendships have grown beyond Kapitel Zwei Berlin.

Information about telc Deutsch Exams in Berlin

For all who are interested in soon taking the telc or TestDaF exam, we are also the right contact for you. As one of telc‘s offical licence partners we carry out telc exams monthly (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 Hochschule and telc Medizin) and TestDaF exam six times per year. Special telc exam preparation classes as well as TestDaF preparation classes are offered. All telc examinations take place as usual on the dates mentioned here.
