The exam is suitable for adults who use German socially and professionally or academically in their studies. At C1 level you can express yourself spontaneously and fluently. What is the structure of the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule exam?
The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 3 hours and 40 minutes (20 minutes break included). Before the oral exam you have 20 minutes preparation time. The written and oral exam usually take place on the same day.
The written test consists of the following components:
- Reading Comprehension (90 min.)
- Break (20 min.)
- Listening Comprehension (40 min.)
- Writing (70 min.)
After a break there will be the oral exam. You will sit this exam usually with one or two other persons. Meaning there will be two of you taking the exam at the same time for 16 minutes or 24 minutes if you are three persons.
