On tour with Kapitel Zwei – Your German language school
On Tuesday, the 20th February, Kapitel Zwei Berlin and you will visit the Museum of Film and Television at the Potsdamer Platz. Start: 3.15 p.m., in front of your language school.
We’ve got a lot to do. First, we’ll visit the permanent exhibition, then we’ll go and see the special exhibition “Die Ufa – Geschichte einer Marke“ (“The Ufa – history of a brand”). We’ll get insights into the history of film, from the beginnings until today. We’ll see the futuristic set designs for Fritz Lang‘s „Metropolis“, Marlene Dietrich‘s make-up kit and the costumes from Wolfgang Petersen’s film “Das Boot“. We’ll stroll through halls of mirrors, through different light installations and spectacular productions. In the media library you can find 70 years of television history, of West-Germany as well as of East-Germany.
After our exciting tour through the museum, we will have learned about cinema silent film divas, films from the Weimar Republic and the National Socialism, the exile in Hollywood, the German post-war films and German contemporary cinema. You can’t stop from being astonished. Particularly, as soon as we are going to tell you, that the entrance fee is only 4 € instead of 7 €.

Get registered in the office until Monday, 19th February 2018 until 6 p.m.
Admission fee is 4€ instead of 7€ which will need to be paid in cash when registering in the office. Thank you very much.
A guided tour through the museum is not included in the entrance fee. We’ll open up our own perspectives to the topics.
We’ll take the (U2) to Potsdamer Platz. You’ll need a Berlin train ticket AB, if you don’t have a monthly pass. It’ll take about 30 mins to get there. Please be on time at the meeting point in front of the office at the glass door at 3.15 p.m.!
