Exhibition “Topography of Terror” in Berlin-Mitte
On tour with Kapitel Zwei – Your German language school
On Friday, September 28, Kapitel Zwei will bring you to an outdoor exhibition, including a permanent exhibition, in the new building “Topography of Terror” in Kreuzberg.
This project exists since 1987 and documents the terror at the time of National Socialism, especially between 1933 and 1945. On the site, there used to be buildings which during the Nazi regime from 1933 to 1945 were the headquarters of the Gestapo and the SS e.g. Reich Main Security Office (RSHA), the principal instruments of repression during the Nazi era. The former Hotel Prinz Albrecht was the seat of the Reichsführer of the SS, from 1934 onwards.
In order to understand the backgrounds and the reasons why we still need to talk about it, we will have guided tour. The tour will be in easy German. So you can learn the language and history at the same time.
The area is centrally located between Anhalter Bahnhof, Potsdamer Platz and the historic city center. We find it important to remember our own history and to educate young people. Come with us to the exhibition. Please note: The places for the guided tour are limited! Admission is free.
