Markthalle 9 Berlin

Markthalle 9 – Street Food Thursday

Multicultural gourmet experience after your German course

On Thursday, 19 September 2019, Kapitel Zwei will visit the Markthalle 9 in Berlin Kreuzberg with you after your German course. Every Thursday it’s “Street Food Thursday”! Delicacies from all over the world are freshly prepared and every week there is something new! For good prices you can go on a culinary world trip and discover new flavours! So? Have you already gotten hungry?

The Markthalle 9 has existed since the end of the 19th century and is one of the few market halls of that era that is still preserved. You can still buy food here today: On Friday and Saturday you can find regional and seasonal vegetables and fruit, sausages and freshly baked bread at the weekly market. There is also a gastronomic market. Daily from 12 to 18 o’clock you can get fresh handmade pasta, various lunch menus and delicious coffee. And of course there’s the Street Food Thursday!

Come with us, learn new German vocabulary and tell us what street food there is in your country! It’s called actively learning German and in real life!

Kapitel Zwei is looking forward to you!
